De SROI van sporten en bewegen

Overheden zetten sport als middel in om wenselijke externe effecten te stimuleren en negatieve externe effecten tegen te gaan. Ook andere organisaties en sporters geven geld uit vanwege sportactiviteiten. De vraag die zich aandient is hoe de kosten voor sporten zich verhouden tot de maatschappelijke opbrengsten. In deze bijdrage staat die vraag centraal. Het artikel is gebaseerd op onderzoek van Rebel en het Mulier Instituut, in opdracht van Kenniscentrum Sport. Met toepassing van de SROI-methode is gepoogd de verhouding tussen de maatschappelijke kosten en opbrengsten van sporten en bewegen zo goed mogelijk in te schatten.
